Pleated Blind Care Guide

Over time, pleated blinds may become dusty or slightly dirty. This is normal, and usually it is sufficient to clean the blind with a vacuum cleaner using a textile nozzle.

• Pleated blinds can also be cleaned with a clean, damp microfiber cloth.
• The fabric must not become wet during cleaning.
• If water splashes onto the fabric during cleaning, it should be dried immediately.
• Stains on the pleated blind should be treated as quickly as possible with a damp cloth.
• For stubborn stains, we recommend using a cleaning agent specifically for blinds and pleated blinds.

For double-fabric (honeycomb) pleated blinds, to remove dust from inside the diamond-shaped chambers, remove the blind from the window frame, place it on its side, and gently tap to release the dust from between the pleats.

How to remove pleated blinds from the window and reinstall them:

• To remove the blind, move it to the fully closed position.
• While holding the blind with one hand, slide the cord-end fittings, together with the cords, off the mounting bases screwed to the window frame. Start with the lower fittings, then remove the upper ones.
• To reinstall the blind, start with the upper fittings. Make sure the cords run straight and are not twisted around each other.
• While holding the blind with one hand, attach the upper cord ends first, followed by the lower ones.
