What is the delivery time for Rulo blinds?

Normally we produce and deliver all roller blinds, pleated blinds, venetian blinds, and curtain tracks within 7–10 working days from payment. Insect screens take 10–15 working days. Delivery time may vary depending on season and campaigns. For exact times, contact our support: info@rulo.ee.

If your order contains multiple product groups, e.g. curtain tracks and cassette blinds, the courier may deliver them in several shipments and on different dates.

Do I need a professional for measuring and installation?

If you have a measuring tape, you can measure the windows using our instructions, and if you have a drill, you can usually install them yourself. If you only need to cover 1–3 windows, we recommend doing it yourself. For larger orders, you may consider using our measuring and installation service. This saves time and ensures a warranty – if any problem occurs, responsibility lies with us.

You can find measuring and installation guides here.

The installation guide is also included with your order via a QR code on the package. You can scan it easily with your phone.

What measuring tool should I use?

For the best fit, accuracy matters. Always use a calibrated, metal construction tape measure when taking window measurements. Other tools, such as fabric or plastic tape measures, can stretch or bend—leading to incorrect dimensions and blinds that don’t fit properly.

How to measure windows for cassette or pleated blinds on the frame?

How to measure for cassette blinds?

For cassette blinds, measure H1 – L1 – L2 as shown in the image. Also measure glazing bead depth D1 (in the photo).

How to measure for pleated blinds?

Measure glazing bead depth D1.
If D1 is less than 15 mm and/or angled, mount on the window frame (measure H1–L1).
If D1 is at least 15 mm and flat, mount on the glazing bead (measure H2–L2).

Should you have any uncertainties, kindly reach out to us at info@rulo.ee or provide detailed instructions in the comment section when submitting your order.

Does my window have a square or rounded glazing bead?

Triple-glazed windows usually have square beads (see photo). Double-glazed can be either square or rounded. Rounded beads have no sharp edges and are curved.

When should I add 16mm to cassette blind measurements?

If glazing beads are sharply angled or rounded, add 16 mm (8+8 mm) to your width measurement. Be sure to check that there are no obstacles on the frame, such as a window handle.

Which windows cannot have cassette blinds installed?

What does a window with small grids mean?

With small grid windows, pleated blinds can only be mounted on the frame. A window with small squares, for example, is glass separated by decorative moldings.

What does a pleated blind operating stick look like?

Which glazing beads cannot hold pleated blinds?

In some cases, even if D1 ≥ 15 mm, the glazing bead profile prevents installation (e.g., unusual shapes or strong angles). Examples:

Covering an opening with two or more pleated blinds

Large openings can be covered with 2–3 pleated blinds side by side. Don’t worry about gaps; here are examples:

How many rows of cord holes are in a pleated blind?

It depends on the blind size. For more information, please contact us at info@rulo.ee and provide us with the dimensions of your window.
