Rulo Premium Classic Blind Installation Guide

INSTALLING THE RULO PREMIUM CLASSIC BLIND

STEP 1. Check the package contents

  • Classic blind 1 pc
  • Wall brackets 2 pcs (depending on the version, with or without end caps)
  • Chain stoppers 2 pcs
  • Screws 4 pcs (universal)
  • Wall plugs 4 pcs (universal)

STEP 2. Check the blind dimensions by placing the blind in front of the window, either on the wall or inside the window recess (depending on the order). When mounted on the wall, the fabric should ideally be 5–10 cm wider than the opening on each side.

STEP 3. Installing the brackets

  • When mounting to the wall, place the wall brackets at both ends of the blind.
  • Measure the total width of the blind (blind + brackets).
  • Leave equal distance from the window opening on both sides so that the blind will be centered after installation.
  • Ideally, install the blind 6–10 cm above the top edge of the window opening.
  • Make sure the fabric runs smoothly from the back of the roller tube.

STEP 4. Mark the screw hole positions on the wall using the wall brackets. Then use a drill or hammer drill to drill holes for the wall plugs. Install the wall plugs and wall brackets.

STEP 5. Mount the blind on the wall. Classic blind installation options: 1. Ceiling mount, 2. Wall mount, 3. Side mount (onto recess sides).

NB! Always secure each bracket with two screws! Add the chain safety device. To do this, unroll the blind and insert the included plastic washer (safety device) between the chain beads so that the blind cannot be rolled down past the windowsill.

STEP 6. Check that the blind is level and moves freely when pulling the chain. If the blind is not level, the fabric will run crooked off the tube.

  • To level the blind, slightly loosen the screw in the vertical slot of the bracket, adjust the blind into a horizontal position, and retighten the screw.
  • If the blind moves up and down with difficulty, slightly loosen the screw in the horizontal slot of the bracket and move the bracket slightly away from the opposite bracket. Then retighten the screw.

Removing the blind To remove the blind from the brackets, push the mechanism side of the blind upward and towards the mechanism. Then lift the mechanism side up and release the opposite end from its bracket
