Classic and Cassette Blind Measuring Guide
Classic Blind Measuring Guide

RULO standard Classic Blind (excluding the PREMIUM series):
The Classic blind is installed either above the window opening on the wall or inside the window recess, between the reveals. In both cases, we recommend measuring the width and height of the window opening.
If you want to install the Classic blind above the window opening on the wall, we recommend adding 50 mm of fabric on each side of the window opening.
For example, if the window opening is 1000 mm wide, enter 1100 mm as the width (50 mm added to each side).
Keep in mind that in this case, the total width of the Classic blind including the mechanism will be:
1000 + 50 + 50 + 48 = 1148 mm.
There is no need to add extra height if the Classic blind is installed up to 8 cm above the window opening. However, if you plan to mount it higher, you should add extra height accordingly.
If you want to install the Classic blind between the window recess (inside the opening), subtract 48 mm from the window opening width.
For example, if the window opening is 1000 mm wide, enter 952 mm as the width (1000 – 48).
Cassette Blind Measuring Guide
The Cassette Blind is installed directly on the window frame. The measurement guide for the Cassette Blind depends on the type of glazing beads in the window.
Cassette Blind Measuring Guide (Square Bead)

If you can install the side profiles (using the included tape) directly onto the glazing bead (the bead is not curved or sharply angled), take the measurements as follows:
L1– width from the edge of the window frame to the bend line of the glazing bead
L2– width of the glass surface, excluding the (black) glazing seal
H1- height from the edge of the window frame to the bend line of the glazing bead
D1 – depth of the glazing bead from the surface level of the window frame, excluding the seal

Cassette Blind Measuring Guide (Curved Bead)
If the glazing bead is not suitable for mounting the side profiles, then L1 = width measured from the glazing bead bend lines + 16 mm.
In this case, the side profiles will be installed outside the glazing bead bend lines.
Example: If the glass width is 1000 mm and the glazing bead width is 15 mm, then enter the width as follows:
1000 mm + 15 mm + 15 mm + 8 mm + 8 mm = 1046 mm.
Make sure that the window handle does not interfere with the installation of the roller blind side profiles.
