Classic Blind Measuring Guide

CLASSIC BLIND MEASURING GUIDE For RULO classic blinds (excluding PREMIUM series)

L1 = window opening width (mm); H1 = window opening height (mm)

The classic blind can be mounted either on the wall above the window opening or inside the window recess, between the reveals. In both cases, you need to measure the width (L1) and height (H1) of the window opening.

For mounting the classic blind on the wall above the window opening, we recommend adding 50 mm overlap on each side of the frame. For example: if the window opening width is 1000 mm, enter 1100 mm as the width in the online store (1000 mm + 50 mm + 50 mm). The total width of the blind will include the wall brackets as well, approx. 50 mm.

Example: If the window opening width (L1) is 1000 mm, we recommend entering 1100 mm as the width in the online store, and the total blind width with brackets will then be 1150 mm.

We recommend mounting the classic blind 80–100 mm above the window opening.

Example: If the window opening height (H1) is 1000 mm, we recommend entering 1080 mm as the height in the online store (1000 mm + 80 mm).

If you want to mount the classic blind inside the window recess, subtract 50 mm from the window opening width to allow for the brackets.

Example: If the window opening width is 1000 mm, enter 950 mm as the width (1000 mm – 50 mm). Please note that when mounting inside the recess, 25 mm wide gaps will remain uncovered on each side of the window opening.

If necessary, send us a photo of the window opening (info@rulo.ee) so we can provide more precise instructions.
